I hope you will be discussing in detail why and how you faked your cancer.

    Cynthia,

Thank you for finally leaving a comment here. Your twitter exploits have become well known, and we're assuming that's what you want. Attention.

You have very real problems and issues, and you need help. For whatever reason, you have taken time best spent elsewhere and turned it into a very sad libelous direction that I am currently taking action upon. Your IP address now assists me with that.

I don't know you. And you clearly don't know me. But I believe that whatever you've been though and whatever hate you have deep down, is not only misdirected...but downright creepy.

I have Hodgkins Lymphoma. And for you to say otherwise, hurts me, my family, and my friends. Having to go through the sickness, the fear, and the ups and downs makes me even sadder that you would say these things.

But sad is where it ends. It doesn't anger me, or scare me, or ruin what everyone is working hard for. It really just makes you look misguided.

Having said that, I am available to speak to you any time. My # is 415 238 8428.

Drew, I don't know you. Not personally, not IRL. We do happen to have a mutual acquaintance, which somewhat, yet pleasantly, surprised me. I asked him how he knew you, I had assumed through the blogosphere, but, no, it wasn't through the internet. He knew from before you had cancer.

But here's what I can say about you:
    - You are as genuine an individual as anyone that I've "met" IRL
    - I've dealt with people who have faked, or abused, severe illnesses to get attention. The difference between you, the "real thing", and them, is a) they don't do it for a good cause, they do it for attention and b) they don't have a sense of humor about it. Or, if they find a way to fake it, they don't, simultaneously, admit when they are having a bad day. It's all or nothing.
    - You've been SO open about the ugliness of your disease and chemo. You've video taped yourself in the process. Unless you have access to the set of ER, or the wherewithall to gain access to the set of ER, how or WHY would you go to that length, except to let people know what it's like to go through chemo?

Cynthia, I blocked you on Twitter after I read your awful accusations to Drew. You seem to base your hypothesis on the fact that, not long ago, Drew got some good news about the progress of his treatment. Cancer doesn't get cured overnight. I don't have cancer, never have. But I've known people who have had it. Who have fought it and won and who have fought it and lost. It's a progressive treatment. It's a progressive battle won.

Just because Drew got word that his treatment was showing significant progress a few weeks ago doesn't mean it's over. Otherwise there wouldn't be 5-year check ups.

And how someone in cyberspace, who is not one of Drew's doctors or medical professionals, or someone who has access, legally or illegally, to his personal medical records could have "undeniable proof" that Drew was faking it is beyond me.

Drew, I have to tell you, you are handling this better than anyone I know. However, the fact that you'd share your phone number with her proves that clearly, you really are ill. ;) (Just kidding.)

Word of advice, Cynthia? Don't follow Drew's followers on Twitter... that's just dumb. Stalker 101 - Don't openly try and preach to the choir. If we wanted to doubt Drew, we wouldn't follow him in the first place. And your Tweets demonstrate who the stable one is...

Oh. One more thing. Learn how to spell. Substituting Zs for Ss isn't cute or poetic or artsy. It's just plain annoying and insulting to those of us who cherish the language we speak. So, try "transformation" on for size.

    Just my $0.02.

(Yeah, I'm having a crappy day. Thanks for letting me vent. I #blamedrewscancer.... ;) )

Having lost too many people to cancer I can only say - Drew - kudos to you. Your generosity in reaching out to help fight this vicious disease is beyond words. Yes - we've met - once in NYC at the 140 Characters Conference last June. You impressed me then and have not ceased to impress me with your constant consistent devotion to making people aware of cancer. Cynthia - I've lost friends and family to cancer and can only tell you there are good and bad days and I would not wish cancer on anyone - even you with your vicious statements and thoughts. You need serious help woman. None of know (nor care) what your anger management issue is - but you need to take care of it before it not only consumes you further but explodes and kills you - literally. Your attacks on Drew only prove how much further we all have to go as the human race in promoting understanding and helping each other on this "spaceship earth."

Thanks Drew for educating me on exactly who that woman is. She is "following" me on one of my twitter accounts and because it's a personal (not my radio personality persona), I wondered who she was...I will block her immediately. What she's saying and doing is terrible.

And, I should tell you that you shouldn't put your number out there like that...even I (who is very aware what it's like to have a stalker) was tempted to call that number just to tell you to stay strong and give you a little over the phone smooch to keep up your spirits! =)

Cynthia- shut the hell up. You have no idea what he has been through. You have no idea the ups and downs of chemo. You have no idea how sick he has been and how tough he has fought this disease. Find someone else to bother and go fuck yourself while youre at it.

    Hugs and rainbows,

    SHAME ON YOU!
You have absolutely NO RIGHT or REASON to say such mean spirited, ugly and untruthful words to someone you do not know.
You have just showed the world what an incredible ass you are.
There is a place waiting for you, you have just secured your placement -- it is called HELL.
Any further comments from you ONLY seals the deal.

I will not be at the Blog World Expo event, but I would love to hear you speak again. When you spoke at Gnomedex it was from the heart and I think everyone in the room shed a tear. Your story, your willingness to share it, and your ability to tell it with humility and humor are to be admired. Have a great #BWE.

Damn it! I'm speaking at Blog World at the EXACT time as you Drew. (Using Social Media for Real Estate) so I won't be able to hear you (unless I ditch my panel, which would quite probably piss off my fellow panelists and the organizers).

I'd love to hear you, but obviously that's not going to happen this time around. But I'll match your pledge. I'll donate a buck a head for everyone that attends my session. I suspect I'll get off cheap 'cause if anyone has any sense, they'll be listening to you, not me!

Keep rockin what you do, get well and I hope to meet you there!

As for Cynthia Andrews, well, I don't even know what to say. What a pathetic thing that "woman" is.
