You don't know me, but I ran across your BlameDrew's Cancer campaign a few months back. I added it to my Twitter and did several posts and posted a link on my Facebook also. Anyway, I am so happy that it's working! So awesome. Good luck to you, and I'll continue to blame your cancer for everything that goes wrong. I figure all that anger aimed it must have scared it away. ;-)

OMFG! I am SOOOOOOOOO happy for you! This is OUTSTANDING! Congratulations to you and your 'team'. Whatever you've done has WORKED.

This is so full of Awesome, I can't tell you how happy I am for you. In fact, I #blamedrewscancer that I can't express myself clearly.

I got ferklempt reading this. So so happy. 9I was bummed I wasn't able to perform at the Philly Blame-a-thon, make sure you get in touch so I can do the next one). LOVE the Chemo co-pilot idea. Ongoing pairing and encouragement can help so many people out of and through so many situations..from cancer to women funding their start-ups.

I spent all of yesterday telling people your news. Drew, you have so many people throughout the city rooting for you. I had co-workers you've never met and who have never read a tweet hugging me and crying.

Every person fighting cancer should have that. Chemo co-pilot is just the beginning.

Alright, crying I am right now! (I sometimes like to sound like Yoda to make my self chuckle :) ) Anyways, I had saw a link to your site on a site that I found a link to from Facebook (confusing, I know, sorry).. I was reading your blog.. the link was specifically for June 3.. and I was reading all of the comments posted and somehow fiddled my way to follow you, made an account.. and I clicked to see the most recent.. you are AMAZING!!!! I haven't had cancer ever, but gollllly did you ever inspire me! My oldest brother passed away last year from a massive heart attack at 38, I know it's not cancer, but you have made me realize that things happen, life happens, and when you embrace is as you have, everything is worthwhile.
You're awesome, seriously, I'm speechless right now!
I just found it a little ironic that the first time that I have ever been to your site, you post your blog about your FREEDOM!
I have done a lot of work with Relay for Life and you just make me want to do it FULL TIME (screw my job, screw school.. people need love and help).
I hope you have a long, beautiful life with the lady that commented on you two being together, Sarah Cooley, you both are blessed to have each other in your lives. Thank you, Sarah also for supporting him, you both are awesome!

I cried reading this...nothing hurt me more then not being able to go with you today, not being there when you got the good news. I am so happy for you!
I love you so much, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you!
I also can't wait to celebrate with you tonight! You did good baby! Only three more to go!

Drew, your text this morning with the news woke me up. And it didn't matter. AWESOME FANTASTIC SUPER news. I've been telling everyone I've ever mentioned you to about the news. It was great to talk to you yesterday and I know even then we both didn't know what the PET results would show. What a great takedown of the weak little cancer. Finish out the string and don't look back.

Great idea on the chemo co-pilot program! I went to 1 of 8 chemos alone, not much fun. I was lucky to have friends and family to stay with me through all the others, even when they lasted 5 hours.
Congrats on kicking cancer's butt! Keep going!
  • drewolanoff · 3 months ago
    Thanks!

It's really important, especially for those who don't want to do it alone.

Drew, congrats to you! I just stumbled upon your story. Keep up the good fight! I just joined TNT, cycling team this year and rode Tahoe in June, with team CT to raise money to fight Blood Cancers. Many of my team -mates were Cancer survivors and some actively fighting the disease. You are the heroes, you are the reason, you are the inspiration for every pedal stroke towards a cure! God Bless.
