Signed, My Fight Just Began (diagnosis 7/23/09)
Let us know if you need anything.
It's in situations like this humans realize what they're REALLY capable of. :)
You are amazing, Drew. Having the strength to fight - not only for YOURSELF and your own good but also for others - is nothing short of amazing.
I find it hard just to function - the constant pain, the medication that's supposed to help you but also drains you of the energy you need to fight the bastard cells that try to invade your body, mind and life.
The inspiration you give others is fantastic. Sometimes, I honestly hate you and your stupidly optimistic and inspiring words. ;) You're out there fighting for everyone like you, and I'm hardly able to get out of bed in the morning! Psht. How pathetic and worthless is that?
But the good days where I feel I'm right there with you in my mindset - where I feel we're fighting the same battle and kicking cancer's ass and that I can worry about myself now and then do my part for others later make it worth it all. And thankfully, these days are starting to increase in numbers!
So thank you for your blog! Keep kicking ass! My thoughts and support will be with you every little step of the way, and I hope you'll never see another drop of chemo again after your last treatment this round!

Congrats.
